My name is Alisha Allison.
I am a graduate student at the Craig Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY. I recently finished my summer internship at Hell Gate NYC.
Since starting at the Craig Newmark School of Journalism, I’ve gained skills in data journalism and photojournalism, in addition to strengthening my writing abilities.
In 2024, I obtained my Political Science BA and Journalism certificate from University at Buffalo.
I have bylines in City & State New York; The New York City News Service, The Spectrum, University at Buffalo’s student-led newspaper; and Her Campus, an online magazine for college women.
This website highlights my written work, photos taken, and published data assignments.
Hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio!
